Quick Poll on DIY Project: Top Hydraulics
Starting to clean up my new R129 purchase and found traces of mineral oil in the compartment behind the seats when I was starting remove panels for cleaning. As I've come to learn, the hydraulics will fail for everyone at one point. Did my research and I think I can it can be a DYI after watching all of the videos.
Before I jump into this, has anyone here taken on this project and how do you rate the difficulty on a scale of 1-10 (10 being a professional is required).
Second question, what was the most difficult part you can recall.
Thanks in advance.

7 of the 11 cylinders are easy enough to access and replace.
The 2 main lift and 2 bow cylinders are the most difficult, but have been replaced by novices.
Study the videos and determine for yourself if you are up to the task.
The 7 are about a 3 in difficulty, while the 4 are a 6 or 7 and require greater disassembly and dexterity.
