SL/R129: UK sl meets?

UK sl meets?
As a new member to your forum ( & a new owner to an sl320, '93) do you ever have an annual meet in the UK or am I being a bit of a nerd? Regarding my leak problem I posted a few days ago, we seem to resolved the problem by parking 'up' our sloping drive rather than 'down' also found one of the drainage rubbers under the door was blocked but I am not sure that would of caused the problem. Anyway it has been raining constantly for the last few days but the car has stayed dry so far! Regarding new plastic window and quarter lights, we are having ours done at present & should be refitted at the weekend. It has cost us £220 by a local one-man-band trim shop in Stockport, Cheshire- I will let you know the results.
