1991 Mercedes’ 300SL
1991 300SL

Hi new here! I have just acquired a 1991 300SL. This car has been sitting for 2-3 years. When I receive this there was under 1/4 tank of gas ( guessing gas has been in it for all those years). I was able to drive it for 10-15 minutes then the engine shut off, no lights on the dash when this happened. Batter still had power also. Was able to star car back up and drove it for maybe a minute unit it died again. Towed it back home and on the way filled the car up with new gas. Took the car out today and drove it for 20 minutes before the engine sputtered and the engine shut off. Oil pressure looked fine, engine temp was fine. The car fired up after a couple tries and was able to limp it home (maybe 300 yards away). Now car was fire up. Any advice is greatly appreciated
