SL500 Fuel Sending Unit Needed
I need a Fuel Level Sending Unit for my 2000 SL500 (64k miles, VIN #WDBFA68F1YF193737). Mercedes and aftermarket suppliers no longer sell the part. If you know where I can find either of the following, please let me know.

I've got feelers out all over Europe and the U.S. for Fuel Sending Unit #129 542 11 17 but no luck. It's like the part doesn't exist.

After a couple months of unsuccessfully searching for a fuel sending unit in the US and Europe, I decided to sell the car. The buyer said the car was 'museum quality' and gave me a fair price. Thanks to all for your help.
