REMOVING HYDRAULICS

Never had the hydraulic cylinders serviced on my SL , considering that I have been in hardtop mode for last fifteen years.
Now that I am ready to sell, I need to have Top Hydraulics rebuild the cylinders in order to attract buyer.
My Question : Is the removal of the cylinders a relatively simple procedure, or should I depend upon my local garage?

Go to the TH website, take a peek at the procedures and judge for yourself.

The R and R are not difficult if you follow the well document procedure. It is definitely a DIY effort but will take all-day to remove and 2 days to reinstall Take your time, study the procedures till understood, and guard against losing clips with rags, paper towels, etc to block all 'escape' holes. Have them rebuilt, do not try to do them yourself.
