OB2D Port 1999

Hi everyone I had a flashing low fuel gas signal the other day and now the check engine light is on. I cannot find the OB2D port to scan the code. Does anyone know where it would be located all of the places I’ve seen posted elsewhere online have been a dead end.

Yes, the OBD port is under your steering wheel.
The code you are going to get is P0455 which is an EVAP Emissions System leak.

Change your gas cap first and see what happens.

I can’t see anything under here, did you pull the carpet back?

Only the later models its US version got an OBD1 port for ECU diagnosis.
RoW got the 38 pin MB port for full diag.

So the 1999 US version doesn’t have an OBD2 Port? Where is the MB port located?

…in your picture right side of the golden screw. There is a mold prepared but nothing in…

The 38 pin plug is in the motor compartment in the right module box
