R129 SL600 1993 Cylinder 1 and 2 turns off
Hi all
As you can see from the headline, I have a SL600 1993 importet from Japan last year. (Still no license plates, so cant drive it in puplic roads)
I have done all the necessary upgrades with wiring and oil leaks. Fixed the suspension also.
Engine runs fine, has good power delivery when cold (few days ago it would not "take gas" so replaced the fuel pumps and filter as they was very noisy
and it helped)
When engine gets hot (switches from cold start mode to warm = Above 70Deg C), it turns of cylinder 1 and 2..And always those 2. I can see that in the SD4 / HHT win simulator. As soon as the engine revs above 3000 RPMs, they tuns on again..when revs falls to idle, they turns off...Could it bee mixture fail ? Lampda sensor ?
(havent tried to swarp them yet)
Air mass sensor looks fine ... and also no suspicious data from them....someone seen similar behavior ?
There are no faults in any of the modules except for Soft top, (blink caode 28 and 29 as I recal, my HHT Win will not comunicate with the Softtop module)
All other modules has no blink code faults, and no HHT Win faults.
But, MIL lamp is ON, ABS, ASR and suspention lamps are ON ! Im sort of hoping they will turn off as soon as the can has run above 50 km/t for xx km..Think I read it in
some manual once..
Hope some one could maybe give a clue..btw, also fixed the breather pipe in the V..

Yes, includes engine loom/harnes too, starter as well.
Steering angle sensor is also initalized .. I see the angle from 500 deg to -500 deg..(approx)...all looks good.
Really strange it is..

First: Reboot. Second: Change the injector 1 & 2 against... maybe 3 & 4 and see what happens, after you've checked that the controller is working and measured the resistance, it should be between 14 and a little under 20 ohms. .
