Had to replace my worn-out Antenna gromnet on my 2002 SL500 since my antenna popped out. The top one is the original one. Purchased the bottom one online and it keeps popping out my new gromnet. Where can I purchase an antenna with the same rubber washer like my original one? Or any other suggestions?
the new one doesn't have any thread on the bottom screw? the black rubber on the old one is a part of sleeve in which the original antenna thread should be fitted.
if your old Antenna popped out with that black rubber then you need somehow to get that rubber to be attached to the sleeve again. after that the old antenna should be ok.
