1994 SL500. The drivers seat (and by the looks of things steering column) are inoperative. Passenger seat fine. Doesn’t make any difference if door open or not.
fuses both got voltage ok. However this red connector at the seat module seems to only have 2.85V.
I’m almost certain there was minute signs of life today when I listened carefully to the seat while working the seat switch. I’m guessing this was perhaps possible with the (overly low) voltage.
Can anyone advise me on further diagnosis? I imagine I might need to check the large relay behind the fuse box but I don’t know what to do there. Maybe the low voltage is a sign of what is wrong. Red connector both pins inside 2.85V
