1997 - Locked Keys In Car
I locked the only key to my car in the car. MB dealer in Vancouver BC tells me there are no keys for this year. Other that breaking the window what else can be done?
Please note, there is a slim-jim from BCAA stuck in the door (extra bonus if I can open it).

They should be able to issue a key that will open the door, but not start the car.
You will have to show them that you own the car and you are who you say you are.
The chip keys with the ability to start the car are the ones that they can no longer get.
Ask for a Master Key. It will take some time for the MB center in Texas to cut the key and send it to your dealer.

When I was at the dealer I specifically asked for a mechanical key and I was told the key was no longer available. I asked twice to confirm the mechanical key is no longer available. I am not sure what to do.
I showed them my registration (ICBC charged me $28 for a copy of the one in the car).
