SL/R129: Will 98 SL500 & 600 front bumpers interchange?

1998 SL600
Will 98 SL500 & 600 front bumpers interchange?
Neither car has AMG sport option. SL500 front bumper part # is 129-880-1470. SL600 bumper part # is 129-880-1770. They look extremely similar from front and back. What's the difference?

1998 SL600
Quick update: I replaced the front bumper on my 98 SL600 with one from a 97 SL500, with non-AMG option. Fits perfectly. I'm not sure why they make two different bumpers for these two cars.
