Lowering sl500
Hi so I’ve noticed there isn’t a whole lot of aftermarket options for lowering an r129. Id really like to do a bagged setup and not really coils. I’d consider lowering springs but it would be my last option, I’ve looked into diy bags but not to experienced with bags so looking for opinions. I’d also like to add this is my first Mercedes and first time even considering bags so pls excuse my ignorance. Thank you
if You could Link any good info that would be much appreciated

If it's a late model (I see 1999) you can just adjust the center link on the suspension and set the ride height to your liking. There is a post somewhere here with pictures.. basically its loosening a bolt, sliding the linkage while the car is running and it's on the ground and stop when you are happy. Don't go too low as it will overflow fluid and not be happy. Other than that it's all safe and good.
