SL/R129: Can't Open Unlocked Center Console

Can't Open Unlocked Center Console
The unlocked center console won't open. I've tried turning the center glovebox key and I hear all the right sounds but no luck.

central locking
You probably already know that the central locking vacuum pump locks the console along with the key on the dash. Go ahead and read this posting and see if it helps you.

If you reach out to my son thru ebay at
”thebenzgarage” he can step you thru the 3 methods. The first two won’t break anything . He has an article written about the subject also.
