SL/R129: Any adjustment to Bose Subwoofer Bass output?

Any adjustment to Bose Subwoofer Bass output?
Working my way through replacing the factory audio system on my 1997 SL320. The woofers in the doors were shot so I have now replaced them with some Infinity Reference units. I have purchased a Continental TR7412UB-OR European Style radio which is next on the installation list.
Question regarding the Bose subwoofer in the back deck...is there any way to adjust the intensity of the bass output? All the other subwoofers I've owned had a knob for adjusting the bass output. I've done the reset procedure on the factory radio (Bass/Treble) and that helped some. Looked in the compartment where the amplifier is but did not see anything adjustable. The bass is a bit too heavy for my taste.

Nope, it was a stand alone Bose system.
Did you not like it? I think for factory it absolutely knocks, the older Mercedes cars had excellent Bose sound and then they cost cut going to Harmon Kardon.
I have an LX570 with an excellent 450 watt 19 speaker Mark Levinson surround stereo and I like the Mercedes Bose better, it just thumps harder.
