Thinking of buying a 99 sl sport and the owner says he thinks the prior owner changed the top cylinders but has no proof. he said you can check by a date code on the cylinders is this true. Is there any other way to check if they are the original cylinders. also there is a part next to the seats that look like dials on the picture. I have never seen this before. Thanks again
