Decided to delete air pump. M104 95 SL320. I learned that to fool ECU about this procedure ,one should install an 5 ohms 50w resitor. I did that and plug in. The point is that that resistor get REALLY HOT , will burn my fingers in a matter of 2 minutes. What u guys think? Perhaps 100 watts? Different ohms resistance?? Tks a lot.
Did you ever figure this out? Where did you find a procedure to delete the pump?
Not too diffucult but new parts needed. Removing the air pump is straight forward but you will need the proper alternator bracket with diferent pulley setup pn 1041550635 and a new shorter serpentine belt.
