Soft Top Control Module

I have a 2000 SL 500 and I am pretty sure the soft top control module isn't working correctly. Are there any recommended people who repair them or is it better just to bite the bullet and get a rebuilt one.

Amy recommendations would be appreciated.

Thank You

Reach out to Top Hydraulics in Oregon. They are experts in convertible tops and our R129 platform's convertible hydraulics/mechanism especially. They are very helpful over the phone as I've had long conversations with them about the specifics of our cars and they were happy to answer and very detailed in their responses. Here is their website: https://tophydraulics.com/

I called top Hydraulics and they don't deal with the electronic control modules. I have found some on ebay and a repair service advertised on ebay and on the web but have no idea to the quality of these parts or services.

The roll bar doesn't go down, I can have someone hold the down button and compress it manually, until it lock and the switch is made. once the roll bar is down the top doesn't work at all.

I have had Top Hydraulics rebuild all the Hydraulic cylinders and the pump. 3 years prior to the top failing to work.

The top was working correctly until I stored the car for the winter 2 years ago, when I went to start the car the battery was not only totally dead but the battery tender was dead as well. I don't know how long the car was without power, and when I replaced the battery then tried to start the car the starter solonid welded closed, so I had to disconnect the battery to stop the car from cranking continually. The top has not worked since

I have tried the window travel reset, resetting the roll bar in the up position. I have tried manually putting the top up and down. Nothing works, not the tonneau cover latches or any other movement. The pump runs and has pressure.
