SL/R129: R129 passenger door won't lock (vacuum issues?)

R129 passenger door won't lock (vacuum issues?)
My passenger door tries to lock but within 30 seconds the latch rises back up and it remains unlocked (does this both from the key or switch inside the car).
This only just started after I tried changing the setting to lock both doors together (pressed lock and unlock together on the key) as since I bought the car in Nov only the drivers door locked/unlocked on single click
Also my boot lock takes ages to release. Have to wait a good 2 mins (wait till you hear the pump stop then some time later it will release with the button or the key)
I cant push it down as it wont stay down and theres no key lock in the passenger door handle which means I cant really drive the car right now as id have to leave it unlocked that side if I left the vehicle...
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot please? or people who can help near Berkshire and dont charge £100+VAT!
