1998 SL 500 Brake Booster
Thank you in advance for your help with this. I need a new brake booster, and the part number is A004 430 4930, which I can't find an available one to buy. Is this part compatible with part number 004 430 2730 or can you point me in the right direction to buy A004 430 4930.

97 SL500 and a few BMW's
If it were my car, I would contact FCP Euro and order from them. They never steered me wrong and I've been ordering parts there over ten years for the half dozen BMW's currently in my fleet and a former GL350 bluetec. Plus you have home turf advantage since they are in CT so you can probably drive there and ask face to face.

Based on images from the SL Parts website it doesn’t look like any of the other alternatives are similar. Have you looked if there are any interchangeable parts with W124 brake booster revisions? There might be some parts commonality.
