SL300 24V (vdo included)
A cousin of mine came this summer in Greece, with a black Mercedes SL300 (l6-24V)
The car is just... amazing! Perfect! I think i` m in love with R129!
I aslo made a video, while we were chasing a BMW...

We were traveling about 180km/h (110mph)
We saw a black BMW coming really fast.
I had the cam. with me and i told my cousin, why not making a vdo, while we were approaching the enemy... :p

It was all about respect between Mercedes and BMW!

This is really neat!! Locate 2 or more posts in this chain,such that the animated icons of the driver shifting gears appears on the screen, and notice that the shifts are at the same time.

Oh well, I thought my eyes were playing trick on me.

nice video. How come the redline is at 7000 RPM on that car?? I thought the I6 was limited at 6400, at least it is on the American version.

SL300 (24v) performs 231ps@6300.
I don` t think, it has only 100rpm more, to the redline.

nevermind, I was wrong. Model year 1994 and after it was limited at 6400 RPM, before that it was 7000.
