1997 Sl500
Hello All,
R129 Newbie here, (I presently have a C32)
I am considering buying an SL500 for my wife as an extra car.
The car I have in mind is: 1997 SL500 47k mi, Black on Black.
California car, one owner, driven by a 75 yr old fellow, all MB dealer work, all records, but no Starmark. Paint is 9/10, interior is 9+/10, no dings dents or bruises. Mechanical is 10/10. Carfax is clear.
My research shows that 1997 is one of the most desireable years with the 5 speed tranny and the 4 valve/cyl V8. So this may be a good one to get.
What would be a reasonable max price to pay?
Anything to look out for?
