I think this actually happened in Silver Spring, MD. It's the second and third pictures on the http://www.wreckedexotics.com/sl500/ site. I heard that the SL600 was James Brown's, the football sports broadcaster known as JB, who does the pregame and half time shows with Bradshaw, Howie Long, etc. I don't think he was very happy, and I'd bet the tech was looking for employment!
