The SL is a good looking car - the best of all the new MB's - the new B-class might look acceptable. The new M-Class doesn't do it, in my opinion, nor does the clumsy looking new crossover G-Class.

No Question the SL55. I drove both the CLS55 and the SL55. While the CLS has a back seat it is not very "user friendly" and the interior is not as nicely appointed as the SL55. There is no choice here get the SL55; YOU WILL LIKE IT.

If you had asked for a choice berween a CL or an SL, then I'd have a tough decision to make. The CL is far more comfortable and has a masculine look and the SL the just plain sexy. SL has slightly better eronomics and turns more heads. I drive my CL500 everyday and prefer it over my wife's SL600.
The CLS is not in the same class as the SL or CL. It's an overpriced grocery getter.
