SL/R230: What do SL owners do for a living?

Currently I work as Data entry and Inventory control analyst. This pays bills. My true calling is helping others as a Minister. I perform weddings and other functions that fulfill the lives of anyone who is in need.
There was a time when the roles were reversed; how things have changed!
I admit that my time has become more important than chasing $$ at my age (52).

It's not about how much you make, it's about your priorities. Drive the finest cars or eat? My choice was simple.
Only way to own these cars, you either have tons of money, or repair/maintain it yourself.

My dream always was the SL55 model, but at the time couldn't really justify the extra 10k to spend on the car. Moreover a new model of the SL.(Just to confirm that i didn't get misunderstood - at the time i just got hired by USPS. I did not have 25 years with the company)
At this time 1 goal achieved - and it's in the garage. The other one never ends - traveling
I am in the process of purchasing my first R230, a 2011 SL550. Shipping it from the US to Sweden, as odd as it may seem. I have previously owned a R129 a few years back.
I am a photographer & entrepreneur with various side businesses. And I am currently 37 years old, so I'm guessing that makes me quite 'young' for appreciating SLs? Most of the reviews I read it's all about being an "old man's car"..
