Define "better"?
Handling = E55
Acceleration = E55
Braking = E55
Comfort = E55
Roominess = E55
Style = Subjective
Poontang Factor = SL500
Top speed = tie (electronically limited to 155)
If this is a second car, an SL500 is tough to beat...so dang good looking. If this is a car you have to live with everyday, the E55 is probably a better choice.
