Just get a 2005 model...
The 2005 G-class has head protection curtains, the G55 has a supercharger and improved ride and handling, and the remaining cars being produced until the end of the year will be special "Grand Edition" cars with special badging and exclusive color choices. These last of the production run cars will probably be somewhat more desirable due to their exclusivity. And the 2005 G55 happens to (currently) be the most powerful and quickest production SUV.
