What power

The one thing I love about my SL500 is the acceleration from 70 to 100. I was driving around on Interstate I-240 today, and I wanted to get over three lanes to my right. I press on the gas and threaded my SL three lanes to the right onto my favorite curve ramp that connects to another Interstate. The curve ramp is so high in the air that connects two interstates, and I love driving around it fast. I could not believe how fast I cross over 3 lanes with heavy traffic and was doing about 100MPH when I was in my final destination lane. I was excited about the speed and power. Wife look at me funny and said if you had the old Honda I would have never made it.

So I was wondering how much faster is the SL55 and SL600 between 70 MPH to 100 MPH than my SL500?

A lot.

And...if you really wanted something sick, try the SL65 or the car I am getting at those speeds.

I had my SL500 about 90 days. It was a pleasant car; however, the 600 is a monster. When I first drove it, I was so scared that I was smiling uncontrollably.

If you're not willing or able to buy a 600, then do yourself a favor and don't drive one. You'll hate your car.

I agree with you, the V12 is a BEAST. At any speed I have been going, pressing the accelerator can pin you to your seat easily. On a 0 to 110 jaunt one evening, the adrenaline was flowing long after the car stopped. An absolute blast.

I already hate my car. I am thinking of getting a SL600 or a franchise. With all the problems on my SL500, I lost the heart to spend over 100K for a car.

What kinda franchise? Chances are, you'll be looking at more headaches with that then another faulty Mercedes.

Franchise

Most franchise opportunities nowadays mainly benefit the person selling the franchise.

Some Get Lucky

Some people get lucky, but a lot of people get sucked into some real loser opportunities.

I spent a lot of hours every day for 30 years then getting lucky?

Most people that do not do well make the wrong decision going in. They are undercapitalized or they don't know the business.

Luck plays a part in everything anyone does and yes, I have had my fortune of good luck but I have worked by *** off for 30 years or more and my Vanquish S is coming from that and not luck.

I did not mean to imply anything about you personally, I just meant most franchises nowadays people want to jump in and just see $$$$. When they are heavily loaded for the person selling to reap the rewards. They look at it as an easy way to be in business, someone else has set everything up all they have to do is take the money. I know several who have learned the hard way.

Thankfully not me.

I think I read something months ago about the whopper is that right?

I think the concepts are the same. In automibile dealerships people are often undercapitalized and from what I can tell, have no idea what they are doing.

Same concept, same problems, just on a bigger scale although I can assure you my sales were that of many, many dealerships.
