would it be possible to armorize an SL?
there are enough bullet-into-car stories in the papers lately to make me think about adding toughened glass and door inserts. (not that i have knowledge of any enemies out there. ;-)
i'm fairly certain that door panels would be possible, but do you think windows would be possible?
does anyone know a good converter for MB overall?
i recall MB marketing via the web what i think was called a "guard" version of the S. do they still market that or any other armored vehicle?

pimpitcharlie...
already found used and new armored S, as well as new G500 and G55.
just wondering about the SL, which i think would be difficult to convert.
after reading the sun-sentinel story on kid shot dead while driving @ 3a on I95, and reviewing similar stories, i think it'd be wise to consider minimal lite armor -- doors and windows -- on personal vehicles. a growing number of increasingly brazen loons with guns is good reason, don't you think?
