I cannot close the sunroof in my 2003 SL500 :-(
Hello everyone!
I'm new here

Today i have experienced a problem with sunroof in my 2003 SL 500.
The sunroof opens correctly, but when i try to close the sunroof, the black, back part collides with rear window and locks. I cannot close the sunroof, i can only re-open it fully again.
Do you know if it is possible to fix this without going to mercedes service?
Do you know approximately the cost of repair or the cost of part which failed?

Do you know what does it mean "check coolant level" ?
The above icon appears more often recently.

The SRS sign is on. What this can be?

I'm sorry I can't answer any of your questions specifically.
I'd go to the dealer and get everything taken care of correctly. If you or someone else not qualified to fix these things makes something worse; then you're really looking at a lot of money.
Address the coolant problem immidiately.

The sunroof sounds like it will be need to be brought to meredes serivce center. The check coolant level means you are apparently low on engine coolant, and I would highly advise not driving your car until this is refilled. Unless you want to overheat and burn up your engine. Go to autozone or the like and buy their best engine coolant, and look under your hood for the Engine coolant cap, remove it, and put the engine coolant into it. SRS means the airbags. More than often, this is just a glitch and nothing is wrong with the airbags, but I would get it checked out.
