SL/R230: Teleaid
Trying to decide if the additonal $210 "luxury" upgrade option is worth it...I would def. take advantage of the phone capabilities of that option (dial-out only, unlimited minutes), but not sure if the other features are worth it. Any have experience with this upgrade? Worth it?
630 miles so far, and I have one dirty black car. Zaino products arrived yesterday, just need to find the time to use it!

Well, MBUSA decided to cancel this feature and sent me a letter recently telling me so.. I posted about it on W211 just a few days ago.
bottom line, I decided to drop the extra package and just pay-per use on the directions, and traffic alerts since the unlimited calling disappeared.

They are graciously giving me a full refund as such.

Was the call directly placed from your merc (as if you had the cell phone option), or did you have to place a call first to teleaid and then have them transfer you?

nevertheless... I was a big proponent of this service, and even tried to get some guys here (via an older thread) to try it... but those idiots at MBUSA didn't want to fix it, so they got rid of it!
If you were counting on it, you may just want to go back to the basic package and pay per use for the premium stuff, as that was the only one worth paying the extra $250 for.
