Thanks - worth the effort of downloading the 91 PDF files, gives interesting information on the SL (body structure, safety and so on). For example did you know that the engine in the new SL500 differs only from that of the previous car in having a different design of oil pan?

With these facts at your finger tips, you can really bore your friends/family/loved ones into submission.....

Recently bought sl500 Designo with less than 29000 original miles. It seems that everything except the fuelguage light. It came without manuals/operation of features, etc. I'd like to know how all the Bells and Whistle work, and actually, what all there is. is the Mercedes-Benz 2003 SL-Class Presentation Guide CD Rom/DVD dvd set worth buying? thx
