SL/R230 03 sl 500 Hard top dont close all the way

Top doesnot close all the way and it will not come up to closing poss. any way it can be rest.

2003 Black SL500

I am not aware of a reset fuction. It sounds like something is wrong physically that is preventing it from closing. The only way to reset the electronics (and I dont know the extent of which) , is to disconnect the battery for 10 or so minutes. I would call your dealer or a mercedes service center, see what they say.
