? 18" or 19"

Ok, the SL600 comes standard with 18" wheels and the SL65 with 19" wheels, why is that?????????

ALSO. why you would want one over the other?

On a SL600 the 18's are also staggered.

I suspect the 19's because as you say, they are sexier, sportier and more of a racing/performance tire.

19's look better.
On a drag car, you want smaller wheel but wider (usually).
Rubber weighs less than rim.

SL500 and A-CLASS
The 19" tires have a smaller sidewall. The smaller sidewall would be stiffer and have better control in the corners.

18" for the sl600 to have more sidewall hence more comfort it's for those people who want ultra-comfortable luxury/sports car.

19" on the sl65 for ultra high-performance speed freak. 19" with lower profile tires = less sway on the tires.

oh yeah 19"s are sexier
