Mercedes phone

Does the phone lever on the steering wheel allow you to receive and end calls?

It does in my car. Why do you ask?

I am getting the VRM kit for my SLK 320. The Argos system works great in it, but would like the lever to answer calls. It is a lot safer than finding the answer button on the radio.

I just realize today that I disable the Mercedes phone and could not test in my SL500. I am having one of those days where you just do not rember anything. I got a Verizon e815 to replace the Mercedes V60p.

I thought that the steering wheel buttons were fully functional w/ Argos. Is that not true?

There are no steering wheel buttons on the 2002 SLK.
