Desert SL55
After living in San Diego California all my adult life....moved to Phoenix so I can finally own a home! No more beautiful Pacific Ocean photo shoots. However, as a semi professional photographer, I think desert sunsets are definitely more vibrant here!

What sort of wheels are those?
I have the black
WHAT KIND OF RIMS ARE THOSE? I LOVE THEM
wheels on right now, the chromes where too bling bling for me.
I will post pictures next week after a Renntech lowering module upgrade and tinted windows.
Future upgrades:
- Renntech lowering module
- Tinited windows
- Cat back exhaust system

Wheels are out production flow forged TSW Interlagos! I have always loved this design because they are very simple but aggressive too. They remind my of CLK BLACK Series wheels but less expensive and wider!
They were special order and custom drilled to fit my SL. 19x9 20mm 255/35/19 - 19x11 25mm - 305/30/19 They push the wheel all the way to edge of the fenders with no fitment or rubbing issues. Best of all they only weigh 23 lbs and 24.5 lbs. much lighter than the OEM 2 piece boulders that come on the P30 cars. The faces are night polished - not chrome and painted silver - old school style.

The Southern Stars MBCA had a photo shoot in Saint Augustine and I brought my all time favorite car. Looking good for being 17 years old now.

They are TSW Interlagos Flow formed wheels. I have a buddy at TSW and these were actually for Porsche 911 Turbo fitment - but blanks. I had the Custom drilled to Mercedes 5x112 bolt pattern to fit. The offsets were perfect for the fitment and stance I wanted. 18x9 20mm Front 19x11 25mm rear.
The Interlagos has been discontinued in North America but not in other parts of the world. If you can find them for an SL, the offsets and width will less aggressive.
I have destroyed 2 sets of forged wheels and done with spending $$$$$ on wheels for this heavy tank. The TSWs are as light as mono forged wheels just less strong but so cheap I won’t cry if I destroy them too. In my case if do break one, the other 3 will be paper weights.

Thanks! I'm going to be calling you in the future for some BBS wheels for her. My last BBS wheels I still have on my 88 BMW M5 RKII's which have been solid for 13 years! I had them powder coated period correct gold in the center and polished the lips myself. I have many mods. Renntech 15.2 " floating rotors w/ Brembo Renntech 8 piston calipers up front. Renntech lowering module for suspension. Many engine mods and stereo system too. I have tons of pics of my car in here - just search my user name I guess?
BBS RKII
My 88 M5 w/ 534K miles - owned since new.

Nice pics!
The 2nd pic looks like we have one of our worst enemies from Formula 1 lurking in the background!
Did you go there to set them straight and challenge them! Hope you represented us well!
