SL/R230: Alarm goes off

Alarm goes off
Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with their alarm going off.
The other night, my car alarm just went off. Not a clue as to why.
Today the alarm goes off when I start the car. I turn the engine off and pull out the key, the alarm goes off...put it back in and start the car, the alarm goes off again. I put the top back up. Got out and locked the car. Then got back in and no problem.
Has this happened to anyone else?

that's a new one to me and the forum as far as I can see. Let us know if it recurs or if you get it fixed, what the problem was.

I've never caught it going off myself but my colleagues at work have been telling me about it. Brought it to the dealer yesterday to get that looked at and to get the recall work done on the car. Didnt get to speak to the service advisor as it was late in the day so no clue what was wrong with it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it doesnt go off again.
