My SL Broken Into ..Are all people that break into cars this stupid?
My SL was broken into the other day.. jackasses took a flathead screwdriver down the leather on the dash to break open the glove box and did the same upward with the center console... (breaking all the locking plastic mechanisms as well) in the end all they took were "3" wheel spacers i had in the car that aren't even for the SL..
are thieves that screwed up to f**k up a $125k car just to steal 3 wheel spacers? god.. i swear, some f**kups with no respect or smarts.. should never have been born..
if you're gonna break in and mess up my car, atleast steal something with a value that you can sell for crack money..

WOW! thats horrible man. The best thing to do is get it fixed and forget about it. They want you to daunt about it and be pissed. How did they get in? Did you have it locked? When did it happen? How much damage?

A friend of mine had one of his side windows broken, and $12 in change stolen. The cost to replace the window was something like $500.

When your car gets broken into, you get 3 shocks:
1. The minute you see the window smashed / items missing
2. When you take it to the shop and you're asked for big $$$
.......and after you (think you) have recovered from 1+2 above........
3. When from time to time you still discover little tiny pieces of glass on your seat reminding you of the incident !!!!!!!!
