SL/R230: SL350 coming to the US?

SL350 coming to the US?
So are they really bringing the SL350 to the US this year for 2006? I was reading an article about the new SL's with increase HP and newer interior with a different front bumper along with the 7speed tiptronic and paddle shift. I couldnt find anywhere that they said if the SL350 is coming to the US or not. Anyone know? Thanks

I can almost guarantee there will be no 2006 SL in the U.S.
Maybe they will bring it in a few years from now. when they need to get rid of the body style like they did for the 2006 S class...but I think it would be a bad move unless sales were really terrible.

Great, very interesting. I wonder how much longer are they going to keep the SL500 model or R230. It seems like the previous years trend last normally around 10-12 years (Correct me if I am wrong).
