I had this number written down for my info, but check to make sure. Forgot where i got this from though.
The stock FRONTwheels are 8.5 x 18" / Offset = 1.18" (30mm)
REAR are 9.5 x 18" / Offset = 1.30" (33mm)

Thanks for the reply. I have searched for the offset on these wheels and haven't been able to find anyone mention these wheels specifically. I have seen people say that the other sl500 5 spoke wheels have the offsets you mentioned. But I've also seen someone mention that the wheels I'm asking about have an offset of 40mm for the rear.
Im hoping I can get a few people to confirm the offset. I found a set of wheels and am hoping they'll fit. They are:
Front: 18x8.5 with 23mm offset. 255/40/18
Rear: 18x9.5 with 28mm offset. 285/35/18
Can anyone tell me if these will fit my '05 sl500?
