2006 SL600, 2001 S500, 1996 SL320

Unknown Format

I have burned a couple of DVDs for use in the command unit. Sometimes it plays it and other times for the same DVD it says unknown format.

Anyone have any ideas why?

I had a similar problem on my 07 SL550 player. Using ROXIO, I had been burning discs as simply compilations of MP3s. Then I tried burning them as "DVD Music disks" and they worked fine.
