well bad news to report. Had the car for a week and finally decided to detail it. So I go to clean the wheel and I find out that all four wheel have scratches on them*(!&%*!^!!@
When I took it from the dealer I thought it was either brake dust or glue residue from shipping.
I was told to go to the Service Department tomorrow and see if they're warranty it. You can clearly tell it was not something I did.

Happy to report that trhe dealership took care of everything. There was another 50th Anniversary on the Lot and they just swapped the tires out. Phew!

How badly scratched were your wheels? I just picked up our new SL550 a few days ago and noticed a few scratches on a couple of the wheels.
Did your scratches go all the way through the clear coating?

I also have a silly question for you. Has your hood emblem shifted at all? I noticed that mine has and that it is already loose on one side(no adhesion).

Meegle, some of the scratches on the rims were pretty deep and went through the clear coating. The dealer knew it wasn't something I did since it was on all four rims and I only had the car for a week. As for my hood emblem, I haveb't noticed it shifting yet...I hope it doesn't.
