SL/R230: Wheel Balance???

Wheel Balance???
?, when they balance the wheels, from what I can tell they put weights on the rims in two different locations, one right behind the visible portion of the rim from the outside and one on the inside on the other end of the rim. Do they mount weights in any other locations on the rim?

Wheel weights can be on both the inside and outside of a wheel - usually a good shop will put them only on the inside if you have nice/expensive wheels so they don't ruin the nice look and finish of the wheel. If you think a weight may have come off, you should take it back to the shop and have them double check it. I've had weights fly off the wheel before - they were the hammer on type that have a little piece of metal that is sandwiched between the tire and the edge of the wheel. I don't care at all for this type. I've always had good luck with the stick on weights - haven't yet lost any of that type. If one did fly off, you would definitely have heard it - it usually flys up into the fenderwell and smacks against the underside which is very loud from the inside of the car.
