Intercooler Pump

Curious to know what others know about the issues with the intercooler pump on our SL's

Funny you mention it. I just got my car back from service today and they replaced that very pump. Before my car felt sort of sluggish once it was warmed up...especially on a hot day...and Renntech looked it over and said my IAT's were too high and the pump was weak or inop.
I went to my MB advisor and told him what Renntech read (86degrees C IAT) and they agreed that was out of limits and they replaced the pump.

The car is an entirely different animal now. I really have to plan ahead if I'm going to get on it because it is gathering speed so quick. I'm happy to have the performance I always heard these V-12's had!

i have the same problem whith my sl600 when it gets hot it feels like lose power.i have new intercooler pump and radiators because i wrecked it. .whats IAT?i
