How to disable airbag?
Does anyone know how to disable the passenger side airbag? I would like to ride with my 8 year old daughter and don't want to have to purchase a $450 MB booster seat with the Babysmart just to disable the airbag. She is tall enough to safely use a seat belt without a booster.

SL500 Passenger airbag
I am in the market for a Mercedes cabriolet and have a 2.5 yr old daughter. I'd prefer an R230 SL, but would buy other (under $30k) models also.
Does anyone know which US spec cars and model years have the passenger airbag disarming kit installed as standard, or how to tell if they were installed as an option?
I do have a used Mercedes Benz toddler booster seat with airbag chip, but she is still a bit small for it.
