Eisenmann Sport Performance Exhaust - Installed
Just had the Eisenmann Sport Performance Exhaust installed on my 05 SL500 (thanks for the sale prsmith).
Wow. Simply awesome. What a difference in sound; very, very mean now. Normal acceleration is a delight to hear, and full throttle is a beast! I think it should have come from the factory like this! Eisenmann CLAIMS 4.1% - 4.7 % increase in hp, but as with all tuners, I'm a skeptic. With that said, it does feel quicker, but again, that could be all in my head.
I'll try to get a video clip, but where can I host? Pics too, when I have the car washed; freaking Houston and it's unyielding amount of rain.

Ok, here's a quick clip. Not the best of sound clips though; sounds muffled to me. I just laid down my Sony DSC-T7 (probably not the best camera to record sound) on the ground while she was idling, and rev'ed her up a couple of times. Will try to get some better ones.

Congrats. It took you a while to get it installed but it sounds like it was worth the wait. I told you it was way different than stock.

[QUOTE=vantage78]Heh, I guess the pic is hard to see with my car being black; it IS indeed a factory rear panel, but the middle portion does not hang below the exhaust tips. What you are seeing is the fuel tank, and that angle combined with the blackness of the car makes it look like like the rear middle section is lower than the exhaust.
The exahust tips hang like the Eisenhaus picture on their website (just imagine a black car):
The system does look nice and sounds great! and plus you didn't have to change the rear bumper like you would have to with the SL55 kit.
