Floor MATS not AVAILABLE with V12
I know it is a small thing, but I was surprised that the floor mats that come in the 600 with the V12 badges on them are not able to be purchased as a replacement. You can buy the mats, but without the V12 badge.

Floor Mats
For some reason. Some of the custom mats are not in the MB
parts computer. I had this issue when I wanted to replace
my "AMG Logo" mats for my SL55. Parts girl said not available.
Only have the SL55 mats.
Turns out some of the custom mats are on a special sheet ??
Ask real hard. They got them available. I saw the sheet.
It had V12 mats on it.

Those mats come from the regional prep centers. Your dealer, if he wants, should be able to get them with a little work.
The only exception to this are the designo mats which come from Germany.

I have an 04 Designo SL600 which had a pair of Designo mats I ruined after stepping in some oil. A couple months ago I called the parts department at Flagship Motorcars near Boston and asked them to order the regular SL600 mats with the metal “V12” emblem as replacements (I like them more than the Designo mats). He did, and they are now in my car.

Part
MBUSA gave me a part number for the floor mats.
I called the dealer and the GENIUS in the parts department said it was not a valid part number. MBUSA called the GENIUS and convinced him that it indeed is a valid part number and that they are available.
$135 per set.

Can you post the part number? That would save me and anyone else who tries to order these mats from the wonderful experience you've had.

I bet the designo mats were on the floor covered with card board and then the V12's in the trunk.

RE: V12 Matts
While it appears this thread has been around for a few years, if anyone here has actual MB part numbers for real deal "V12" mats in the various colors that were made, i.e. black, stone, ash, and red come to mind, please post them.
As FYI, I ordered a spare set for my car last year, using the only part number listed in EPC for ash, and they came all gray, no black drivers mat foot pad, with chrome oval Mercedes-Benz signs just like the new C or E class cars. The mats were produced in Germany, and my dealer parts guy said that these are all that are curently available. Needless to say, these spare mats are still in the plastic unused as they are not at all like what is in the car.
I would very much like to get my hands on a spare "V12" set if these are available.

RE: V12 Mats
As follow up for those looking, I recently found a new MB V12 logo floor mat set in gray (ash).
They are the newer style without the black rectangular foot pad on the drivers side, and have the OEM V12 logo on both mats. Part number on the plastic is B66294194. These came new, sealed in the plastic, but were manufactured on March 6, 2008 in Germany. Not sure whether these are still in production, but as of 30 minutes ago, they live in my car and fit perfectly.
