Anyone Tried The Comand's Hidden Menus / Backdoor Functions On A '03 R230?
Has anyone tried to activate the backdoor functions / hidden menus / engineering mode for their '03 model R230 (non-widescreen) Comand ?
Seems that above are working for the R171's but curious if someone has achieved this for their 2003 R230.

Generally, it allows you to enter the Comand's Engineering mode and change some actions so you can play mp3's, region free dvd's, etc/etc. Also check out foll:

2008 SL 63 AMG R230
hi all,
successfully got into engineering mode and dealer mode, but can some share steps of what can be done to a 2008 Sep built SL 63 ? ( ie changing the start up animation from " mercedes benz star " to " AMG "? )
