Desert Silver Metallic R230s?!?
About 4 weeks ago in SoCal near Newport Beach, I saw a SL55 in Desert Silver Metallic. This is the Desert Silver Metallic that you can see by building a CL500 on MBUSA.com. I figured the owner had a custom paint job done.
Today I saw a SL500 in the same color.
What gives? Was it originally offered many years ago (2003-2004?) and hasn't been for a couple of years (2005+)?
or, Can you special order a car in any color MB offers just by knowing the color code?
