Compass

I have not been able to find a screen that has a compass, it seems that the only way I can determine direction is by having the nav set to North up, and then seeing what direction the arrow is pointed, there must be a compass function, I thought it would be with the outside temp. reading, but no luck.
Every $10,000 car has a compass function, so I must be missing something.

I dont know if there is an actual compass, but if you use the menu button on the steering and scroll till you see heading instead of your mileage, you should see N,S,E, or W under the RPM.

If that does'nt work you could alway's get a bunch of $10,000.00 cars with what yours cost.

It does not seem to work in my 2003. Pretty sure I checked all the sub-menus..

The only 'S' or 'W' I see under the RPM is depending on the Sport / Winter setting (S/W switch)..

I find the same thing as "DETAILAS" does on his car, I wonder if it is a function that has to be programed in.

Energy34108's car is a 2005 model. Maybe there has been a change in the menus, etc in post 2003 cars..

Basically if you have your nav off you will not find anything, but if you have your nav on and do not choose a route it will only show direction of travel like N, S, W, E.

I hope this helps and if you still dont find it just buy one of those round ones and stick it on the dash.

2) Its 5:00 pm and the sun is almost in my face while going home.
