I just spoke to Brabus and their ECU upgrade for the SL600 is $13,000. It gives you 560 HP and increases the torque to 660.

I would appreciate any comments on this and any suggestions or observations regarding other ecu upgrades that you have had specific experiance with.

Whoever gave you those prices is

You can get the Renntech ECU and TCU for $6800 that will give you 625 HP and 740 lb-ft of torque. I think you were either given the wrong information or you are going to get way ripped off.

I never liked Brabus. I don't know why, they always seemed like the kind of company that appealed to those with more money than sense.
